The viennacontemporary is an annually in Vienna held international art fair for contemporary art. By 2014, the name was Viennafair and has earned an international reputation. In order to determine the dates for the coming years and thus to ensure better planning for the exhibitors, the fair moved in 2015 to Vienna's Marx Hall and was reissued under a different name. The Marx Hall is a newly renovated industrial building and the first wrought iron construction of Vienna. It is centrally located in the creative quarter New Marx and is the ideal place for a trade show in this format. The hall impresses with exceptional light conditions and a room that allows many possibilities for the design of the exhibition areas. The viennacontemporary offers an interesting selection of contemporary art of the region but also highlights and new discoveries from Eastern Europe. This is where art collectors, artists, curators, gallerists, art experts and art lovers from all over the world are gathering and experiencing the best of the art scene of Vienna in the fields of painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design as well as new media and installation art.
