The trade fair TRAUMJOB in Paderborn builds bridges between companies and job-seekers in order to secure the future of both parties. For this the personal contact at the stalls is irreplaceable. Specialists and skilled personel, university graduates, employees seeking change, people re-entering the workforce and the generation over-50’s meet interesting companies in various industries that have attractive positions to fill. The apprenticeship market is the ideal platform for an effective career-path choice for pupils from the 8th Class (circa age 14+), but also for pupils going on to further education (age 16+ or Abitur). For the interested visitor, a wide spectrum of work-experience and training positions is offered. Higher education institutions and polytechnics offer transition courses, apprenticeship or courses of study – as well as offering sandwich courses in cooperation with many local companies. An attractive programme is offered to the visitors: job-application coaching, application materials check, interview presentation style and fashion advice, professional job-application photos and JOB-Wand postings on which exhibitors offer additional positions and job-seekers can describe their chosen career positions. Every visitor obtains a free trade fair catalogue containing a map showing open job-positions and the location of the exhibitor companies’ stands.
