Founded in 1998 the Oil and Gas West Asia (OGWA) is a gathering of local and international oil and gas companies, which is held every two years for 3 days in Muscat. It is one of the largest and most important events in the oil and gas industry in the Middle East. The exhibitors include technology companies and service providers, equipment suppliers and other companies in the industry that show their products in the areas of material handling, processing plants, construction machinery, recovery systems, oil field equipment and other related equipment. Furthermore the OGWA is a forum to learn about the latest developments and technologies, but also to look at how things will look like in the future of this industry and what business opportunities and synergies will exist.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 31. March to 02. April 2014, about 312 exhibitors from 24 countries and 11500 visitors on the OGWA Oil and Gas West Asia in Muscat.
