ISM is the largest and most important trade fair in the world for confectionery and snacks which takes place once a year in Cologne. The entire product range of confectionery, snack items and more and more other products for in-between are shown here. New trends, innovative products and perspectives will be presented to the professional audience that only consists of large customers, and will be discovered and discussed by them. As the most important business and communication platform it brings together all relevant target groups, ie small, medium and market leader with international groups, small businesses and the investment-friendly decision-makers. Here contacts are made and consumer-friendly innovative ideas, creations and concepts are offered to secure the future of the industry. The exhibition concept is supplemented by numerous special shows and forums, such as the New Product Showcase for new products or Innova Market Insights for new product trends. Since 2014, a further highlight is the presentation of the ISM Awards honoring extraordinary contributions to the confectionery and snacks industry.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 01. February to 04. February 2015, about 1513 exhibitors and 37000 visitors on the ISM in Cologne.
